Mitchell Chen is an artist based in Northern Utah.

Chen’s primary focus is on capturing and documenting scenes from his travels, resulting in an extensive collection of digital landscape paintings. His frequent travels enabled him to conveniently utilize the digital medium to capture local scenery. His work emphasizes the diverse range of hidden colors, abstract shapes, and a singular brush philosophy. The paintings serve as a tribute to the essence of each location.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He spent his formative years there before relocating to Utah with his family. His early travels with his family across the globe ignited his passion for aviation. Consequently, he has consistently aspired to pursue a career in the aviation industry. While art was always a source of pride for him during his upbringing, it was during his high school years that he discovered painting, which has since become his chosen artistic medium.
